Hello everybody,
You can (obviously) tell from the title that I'm going to stop this blogk this was definitely a hard decision to make but I always find it hard to write a topic! I started a blog because I was SO BORED! I'm not deleting this blog because I have links from other blogs that link to this blog!

You can still comment on this blog though! I'll still check emails that relate to this blog!

DIY: Lip Scrub!

Today I'm going to teach you all how to make Lip Scrub, now if you guys already know how to make Lip Scrub, then who cares, keep on reading!

To make this you will need:

  • Sugar
  • Honey
  • Olive Oil
Step One: Mix two tablespoons of sugar and one tablespoon of honey together.

Step Two: Now add in three drops of olive oil into the sugar and honey.

Step Three: Pop the lip scrub into a container and store it away!

Continue reading to find out how to use the lip scrub!
How To Use:

Dip your finger into the scrub and rub the lip scrub over your lips. You can wipe it off with a tissue or if you are hungry, (for me that's like every second) but you could also LICK it off. Yes it's edible!
Hope you like it!

So Sorry!

A lot of you guys have been asking me where I've gone and what happened to this blog Style Aurora!
But the simple answer is that I've just been busy. You know, with school and stuff. I have ELEVEN tests that I have to do in four days and I've been studying REALLY hard on them. So please bare with me. After the tests I'll try and do more blogging but its just been really hard with my schedule!

Also a lot of people asked me why I have deleted this blog, the answer is because I was REALLY busy with all these tests and I honestly just wanted a new start but then after awhile I decided why not just keep this blog? So from now on I'll keep this blog and I will try to update it as well as I can!

That's all I really wanted to say in this blog post, nothing much really. I just thought I should tell you that you know what I mean!

Paperchase Nail Wraps in Aztec Review!

So today's review is on the paperchase nail wraps in aztec.
This is what they look like:
It was my first ever time putting on nail wraps. It wasn't too easy!
Here's what they looked like on my short nails.

Sorry for the picture being blurry I took this picture with a webcam.
Firstly these cost £4. Not the best price but they're not too bad in comparison with the prices of others.
These didn't all fit my nails. The smallest size didn't fit my pinky finger so that sucks! There was 1mm excess on my cuticle, I learnt the hard way trim the sizes before you put them on if they don't fit. Why? Cause' they're a pain in the butt to get off!
I think they're really cute

I give these...

I would definetly repurchase this, maybe even in a different pattern.

Prom-spired: Not To Dramatic

I'm going to show you guys 2 prom looks. They're not to dramatic but they are sure beautiful!

Would You Rather: Beauty Edition!

So I found this tag and was like OMG must do it! So here's the day...

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? Uhmm, I think I'll lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows. Like gurl if you know me I gotta have some sort of lip product on and some sort of eye product, so I gotta go for this!
2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again? Never be able to cut it again
3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? Coral cheek. I love coral!
4. If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup? Clothes. I love clothes!!!
5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick? Eyeliner as lipstick! I guess you could find pinky-red eyeliners. *cough cough* NYX!
6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora? In UK we don't have Sephora, so I have to go with MAC!
7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life? Eyeshadow. Like gurl I gotta change my lip colour... A LOT!
8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in the winter? What The Hell! Errr... Probably summer clothes in winter. But I would stay at home all day!
9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round? My life is basically in colourful, bright nails!
10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product? Eye product!
11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun? Messy Bun!
12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss? Lip gloss!
13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday? Well they didn't say you could fill your eyebrows so I'll shave mine off then draw them in. Plus they regrow!

That's all!

A-Z of Beauty Tag!

So I was browsing on the internet and I saw this really cool tag. It's called A-Z of Beauty Tag! All you do is basically (without using the internet) try and think of beauty brands beginning with A then B then C then D... OK I think you get the point. You do this all the way to Z. Oh, and I'm NOT using internet to search up any brands. I PINKY PROMISE!

B: Benefit
C: Chanel
D: Dior
F: First Aid Beauty
G: Giorgio Armani
H: Herbal Essences
J: Jimmy Choo
K: Kate Moss
L: Loreal
N: Nars
P: Physician Formula
Q: Quickies
R: Revlon
S: Shu Uemura
T: Too Faced
U: Urban Decay
V: Vaseline
W: Wet & Wild
X: Xen-Tan
Y: Yves Saint Laurent

Yay! I did it!

Do you know any more brands?!?

MUA Heaven And Earth Palette Review!

Hi there,
So I went into Superdrug and my was caught on this little palette.
It's the MUA Heaven And Earth Palette for £4. I'll be honest after I OFFICIALLY bought it I thought that it would be one of those palettes that would just be lying around my desk not ever used...

But NO!

I love this product! It's AMAZING!

This palette comes with 12 shimmery eyeshadows, they're all netural colours. I do not, not like any of the colours, I think they're all great and I would be more than happy if this was the palette I had to use FOREVER on a day to day basis.

The eyeshadows are all smooth, very pigmented and silky and soft to the touch! These eyeshadows are ever so slightly dusty/chalky but I can deal with that no problem!

The eyeshadows lasting power however...
Not so great.

BUT if you use a Eye Primer underneath them they work just fine. They'll probably last all day with the primer! I'm not sure about all night though...

Anyways, uhmm I'll show you swatches of the colours starting from the top left corner to the bottom right corner.
My Overall Thoughts:
It's a really good highstreet/drugstore product. It's excellently pigmented. It's cheap and you could use every single colour in this palette for any netural, everyday look.

Well that concludes this review! I hope you enjoy it!

Spencer Hastings Inspired Makeup

Writing an intro takes too much time, so... err... lets just get into it. Oh, and if you don't know who Spencer Hastings is you might want to search her up before you continue reading this...

1. Start of by priming your lids using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden. Next with MAC Eye Shadow in Soft Brown apply this with MAC 239 Brush onto your lids and a tad in the crease.

2. Now with MAC Eye Shadow in Espresso apply this with a MAC 217 Brush onto your crease and outer corner. With MAC Eye Shadow in Brule and a MAC 227 Brush apply Brule onto your brow bone and softly diffuse any harsh lines. Using MAC Eye Shadow in Esprosso once again apply this with a MAC 219 Brush onto your lower lash line to balance out the look.

3. Spencer most definetly has definition to her eyes but it's not like black liner or liquid liner. So I'm using Maybelline Master Drama in Charcoal Grey on my upper lash line. Now curl your lashes with MAC Full Lash Curler and then apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes, I'm using Maybelline Falsies Mascara in Black Noir.

4. She doesn't wear dramatic makeup, so for her blush I'm just using Benefit CORALista Blush and using a MAC 187 Brush to stipple it on the apples of my cheeks. Finally to complete the look I'm using MAC Lipstick in Hue.

I hope you enjoy it.

How to make your lashes look longer!

Today, let me share you guys a beauty tip that maybe not everyone knows about and that's making your lashes look longer!

OK, so start of by using an eyelash curler and just curl your lashes like normal. Then using either a disposable mascara wand, a spoolie, or even an old mascara wand get your cotton ball and get the fibres onto your wand of choice. Now, try not to get any cotton onto your eye with this step, using your wand apply the fibres onto your lashes.
After that apply your first coat of mascara.
Now repeat all the steps except for curling your lashes. After that...

Voila your done! You should notice a difference in your lashes.

P.S: I will update this page and get pictures here.

P.P.S: This is actually an old remedy that my family have always used! I'm not copying anyone's idea, and yes I do realise that other people have done videos/blogposts about them.

Moustache Cookie Pops?!?

To make the cookies you will need:
2 cups of flour + 5 tablespoons (for surface)
3 bowls
Electric hand whisk
¼ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
14 tablespoons of room temperature, unsalted butter (or 1¾ sticks)
¾ cup of sugar
1 large room temperature egg
½ tablespoon vanilla extract
Plastic wrap
Rolling pin
Moustache cookie cutter
2 cookie sheets
Short skewers
Wire rack

To make the icing you will need:
Electric hand whisk
A bowl
32 ounces powder sugar
Black food colouring
Brown food colouring

For the decoration you will need:
Chocolate sprinkles
Black icing
Brown icing

1. Start off by making the cookies. Sieve the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Then in a separate bowl place the butter, grab your electric hand whisk and let it work for 1 minute. After 1 minute we're going to add in the sugar and mix again until light in colour, for 1 minute.

2. Whisk together the egg and vanilla in another bowl. Once that's done we're going to add this to the butter and sugar until it's fully incorporated, that takes about 30 seconds or so. Now it's incorporated you can now add the flour mix, just mix it in for about 1 minute (or until fully mixed together).

3. Scrape the mixture out onto some plastic wrap and let it set in the fridge for 5 hours.

4. After 5 hours, apply 5 tablespoons of flour on your surface and rolling pin. Pre-heat your oven to 375°F. Now roll out the mix to a 0.5cm thickness. Using your moustache cookie cutter, cut out as many moustaches as you can. Then when you place it onto your cookie sheet take a skewer and place it into the moustache but not all the way through!

5. Once they're all on your sheets place them into the oven for 5 minutes on each side.

6. Now that the cookies have baked in the oven transfer them onto a wire rack and let cool.

7. It's time to decorate! To make the icing, combine all the ingredients together with an electric hand whisk.

8. After 10 minutes of whisking you can now stop.

9. Dye the icing using food colouring and you're done with the icing!

7. To decorate the cookies take your black icing and apply it one of the cookies, to help blend out the icing use a toothpick

8. Do the same for brown moustaches.

9. If you'd like to add texture you could add chocolate sprinkles onto the brown moustaches.

Picture Day Makeup

Today I'm going to be giving you guy how to get the perfect makeup for a perfect picture day look.

Face - Start of by priming your skin with Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer, next we have to apply foundation, stick with matte foundations that are oil free or water based, also avoid a foundation that has too much SPF, I'm using Revlon PhotoReady Makeup. Now use Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer to hide those dark under eyes. Powder your face with Revlon PhotoReady Powder, cause no one wants to look like a greaseball! Taking my Rimmel Natural Bronzer contour your face with this and then apply Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Pinched to the apples of your cheeks.

Eyes - Define your brows with Accessorize Shape & Brow and set it with GOSH Defining Brow Gel. Now on your tightline apply Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black, set with MAC Eye Shadow In Carbon. For your Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Nude and apply it onto your waterline setting it with MAC Eye Shadow in Brule. Now prime your lids with Rimmel Undercover Shadow Primer.
Using Rimmel Glam'Eyes Quad Eye Shadow in Smokey Brown.
Apply the left colour onto your lids, then use the top and right colour mixed together in the crease, the dark colour on the outer corner to define the eyes and finally use the bottom colour on our brow bone.
With the same Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black apply this onto your upper lash line. Now curl your lashes with Models Own Eyelash Curler and apply Maybelline Rocket Volum' Express Mascara both to the top and bottom lashes.

Lips - Using Revlon Just Bitten Lip Balm And Stain in Passion and apply it to your lips. With MAC Clear Lipglass apply this on the centre of your lips to give you a fuller lips.

That's it, I hope you enjoyed it! This took forever...

Beauty Products Every Girl Should Have!

What's up!
Today, we are going to be talking about beauty products every girl should have. Let's go!

  • Coastal Scents 88 Warm Eye Shadow Palette from Amazon for £17.75
This palette has every single colour you would ever need for a
                     neutral eye.
  • Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24h Eyeshadow (any of the neutrals) from Boots for £4.99
These shadows work amazing, they go on smoothly
                              and they have great coverage!
  • MeMeMe Flawless Cream Foundation from MeMeMe Cosmetics for £12.50
If you haven't read my Top Drugstore/Highstreet
Foundations blogpost. You should definitely read it.
You will get a in-depth review of it there.

  • Benefit Posietint Lip Stain from Benefit Cosmetics for £24.50

A lot of people love Benetint, but I
love Posietint. It gives you more of
a true almost Barbie, pink whereas
Benetint gives you more of a rosy,
                                              natural bitten look.
  • Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna
I love this bronzer, it's got a tad bit of shimmer so it's
not completely matte. This looks beautiful on ANYONE!
                             It's AMAZING!
  • MAC 239 Brush from MAC for £19
This brush works amazingly on the lids.
It packs the eyeshadow on so it makes
any eyeshadow more pigmented than it
                                       really is!
  • MAC 217 Brush
This brush works perfectly in the crease. It's SUPER soft but it's not those
super soft flimsy brushes. It's also really good for blending out eyeshadow.

That's all, if there's more I'll update this blog post!
What's your staple, must have products!
Tell me in the comment section down below!

It's so natural and everyone who sees me always asks me if I'm even wearing any makeup. This look only takes 5 minutes!

  • Brows

On my brows I apply MAC Brow Eye Brows in Spiked and then to darken my eyebrows I apply a little bit of MAC Eye Shadow in Carbon on top with a MAC 266 Brush.

  • Eyes
Start of by taking some MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline put some on your waterline.
Now take Eyeshadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay. On your lids and lower lash line apply Ben Nye Lumiere Grande Colour in Cosmic Violet with a MAC 239 Brush. Now take MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline and draw a cat eye shape slightly above your crease, once you've applied the liner soften the line a bit with a MAC 266 Brush.

OK, so take Make Up For Ever Matte Eye Shadow in Number 92 and with your MAC 239 Brush apply it neatly on top of your liner, we want to keep it defined. Blend it out a bit. Using MAC Eye Shadow in Gesso take your MAC 239 Brush and apply Gesso on your brow bone to highlight.

Take MAC Penutltimate Eye Liner and apply this to your upper lash line and lower lash line connecting it on both sides. Now we are going to take the same MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline apply a tad to your lower lash line and take your MAC 239 Brush and blend it out so it darkens the lash line a bit and so it's a gradient. With the same Make Up For Ever Matte Eye Shadow in Number 92 apply a tiny bit with your MAC 239 Brush on your lower lash line.

In the crease area I applied glitter, I started off by taking Ben Nye Glitter Glue and putting it on my crease. Then I took NYX Loose Glitter Powder in Purple on a MAC Eye Applicator and put it on top of the glitter glue. With another NYX Loose Glitter Powder in Crystal on another MAC Eye Appilicator, I put this glitter above the purple glitter.

To finish off the look, I added MAC 35 Lashes with Duo Adhesive onto my upper lash line and that's the finished look!

Just Kidding!
Did you believe it?

P.S: Don't take this to seriously. This was just for fun, but you could wear this maybe at a fancy dress, or at a masquerade ball! So it's OK!

Top Drugstore/Highstreet Foundations

Sup StyleAurora Squad,
Today I'll be sharing with you guys my top drugstore/highstreet foundations as it has been requested many times. I know how hard it is sometimes to find a good foundation if you can't test. It's even harder if you don't have guidance either. What I like to do is do research on the product and read review. Trust your gut instincts before buying foundation. Drugstore foundation can be a hit and miss thing.

Oh, and secondly, uhhm, I found BubzBeauty and Zoella280390 do some reviews on these products and I really just wanted to try these out myself and I loved them!

But enough with the blabber, lets get into it.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation for £10.99

This is a really good foundation that I think everyone should at least try out. The texture is smooth and creamy. This blends so easily, it gives yourself a healthy, natural complexion. It's hypoallergenic so it's great for people with sensitive skin. The finish I would say is semi-matte so it gives your skin a little bit of a glow but it's not to shiny. Apparently is meant to improve your skin's radiance in 4 weeks. I love how light this foundation feels on my skin. In photographs this foundation works really well. I'm very impressed with this foundation.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation for £8.99

This is claims to have an anti-vatique effect and a radiant glow. I 100% agree, it's amazing. This has very light shimmer in it, when I first found out about the shimmer I was little bit freaked out. But it's actually not that bad it's very subtle, you can't see it on your face or even it the bottle, it's that light...

I say this has a medium coverage but it's definitely buildable. Another thing about this I like that's kinda random is the scent, it's very fruity. I find that for me at least it's actually pretty long lasting. Don't know if I'd recommend this for people with REALLY OILY skin just because of the anti-fatigue effect and the radiant glow and it does give you a glow.

Revlon Colourstay Foundation Combination/Oily Skin for £12.49

This foundation seems to be a popular foundation and I can see why. For starters, they have different formulas catered for different skin types so you can either go for the normal/dry skin formula or like me go for the combination/oily skin formula. It gives really give coverage, as well as being easy to blend on your skin. This gives a flawless finish and it's oil-free which means it doesn't oxidise (change colour over time). It comes in a variety of shades and it hold up well also. The only downside to this product is that there's no pump meaning that application could be pretty messy...

MeMeMe Flawless Cream Foundation for £12.50

I quite like the packaging the only thing is that it's plastic and the rest of the foundations are all packaged in glass. This range only has 4 shades so it's pretty difficult to get one in your EXACT shade. This is marked as CREAM foundation not LIQUID foundation. I think that's why I love the consistency so much, it's thicker than liquid foundation. Where it says FLAWLESS, I totally agree with it. It's so easy to blend and you're not left there trying to go over streaks, cause' there's none! It leaves me with a nice, healthy, dewy effect. I wouldn't say it's overly dewy, I'd say it's slightly dewy. I actually think that this is good for all skin types, I don't see why not? This smells kind of like vanilla. Which I like!

That's all! If there's more I'll update this blogpost! :D

How to keep lipstick lasting!

Hi everyone,

So who loves lipstick? Wait that's everyone...

But who likes reapplying lipstick every 30 minutes?

Wait, who even has time for that?!?
Long wear lipsticks sometimes really last, but long wear formulas tend to be drying to your lips. Follow these steps and kiss reapplying lipstick goodbye!

1. Scrub those lips baby! - a vital step for making lipstick last, is a good base. Lipstick won't stick to dry, flakey lips. Plus it does not look good! Exfoliate your lips first and it'll remove the dry, flakey parts and you'll be left with smooth, luscious lips.

2. Prep those lips gurl! - now your lips are smooth and luscious. Seal in the moisture with lip balm. Allow your lip balm to sink for 5 minutes before doing the next step.
3. Fill your lips in - line and fill your lips with a lip liner that's as close to your natural lip colour as possible. This creates a base for the lipstick to cling onto and using lip liner that's close to your natural lip colour prevents visible contrast between your liner and lipstick shade.
4. Apply - apply your lipstick, blot and repeat. Apply a layer of lipstick with a lip brush onto your lips the blot it with a tissue, now apply another layer of lipstick.

5. Seal those lips - set the lipstick into place with a light dusting of translucent powder and you're done!

That's all the tips for long lasting lips. I hope you've enjoyed. Bye!

DIY Chalkboard Products

Today I'm going to show you how to make DIY Chalkboard Products and how to make some chalkboard paint.

Now there are two alternative options to Chalkboard Paint.
You could either buy Chalkboard Paint but that's pretty expensive.
Or you could make it in ANY colour you want.

To make your own DIY Chalkboard Paint. You will need:

  • Non Sanded Grout
  • Half a cup of acrylic paint
  • Disposable Cup
  • Stick (to stir)
  • A tablespoon
1. Start of by taking 1 tablespoon of your non sanded grout and put into your disposable cup.
2. Next take your acrylic paint and dump it in the cup with the non sanded grout
3. With your stick, slowly mix it all together. Try to break any lumps that might me in the paint mix. Voila it's DONE! It's just like the chalkboard paint but cheaper.

Now that you have your chalkboard paint either the DIY or bought version you can now start making these projects.

1. Chalkboard Cup
  • Chalkboard Paint
  • A Plain Cup
  • Masking Tape
  • Sandpaper
  • A paintbrush
  • Chalk
  • Kitchen Paper
Start of by taking your cup and put on masking tape at the bottom half of the cup, try to make it as straight as possible. The reason we taped the bottom half is cause' you know you lips is  touching the top part. I also taped it around the handle. ;)
Next sand the bottom half of your cup so that the paint has a better adhesion to the cup.
Get your chalkboard paint and paint it on as smooth a layer as you can. Don't worry if it's not opaque, cause we're going to let it dry for 2 hours. For the second layer, if you're not using store bought paint then make a new batch and paint it. Once your done with painting the cup let it dry overnight.
After your cup has dried, carefully pull away the masking tape. It may chip but that's OK, if your OCD then you can go over it if you'd like.

Grab your chalk and gently rub the chalk onto the painted surface of the cup, then using some kitchen paper wipe it off a bit. We're doing this step to prime the cup!

2. Picture Frame Chalkboard
  • Chalkboard Paint
  • A Picture Frame With The Glass
  • A Foam Brush (less stroke marks since on glass)
  • Chalk
  • Kitchen Paper
1. Take out the glass from your picture frame.

2. Apply a thin layer of the paint onto your glass. This may need a few coats. Let each layer dry for 5 minutes before applying another coat. Every time you paint on a new layer make a new batch if you're using the DIY version. Once you are done painting on the glass, let it dry overnight. Mine took 3 layers of paint.

3. Grab your chalk and gently rub the chalk onto the glass, then using some kitchen paper wipe it off a bit. We're doing this step to prime the glass!

4. Assemble the picture frame together and we are done!

3. Chalkboard Notebook
  • Chalkboard Paint
  • A Paintbrush
  • Chalk
  • Kitchen Paper
1. Firstly, grab your notebook and paint your paint over the surface with your paintbrush. You'll probably need 2 layers so let each layer dry for 15 minutes. When you are letting your last coat dry, let it dry overnight.
2. Once it's dried grab your chalk and...
Well you know the deal rub it on gently, then wipe it off gently with kitchen paper.

Perfect, we're done!
